What does "real margin" mean — why isn't it 80%?▼
The 80% figure is factory price vs sell price — ignoring every other cost. The real margin after China domestic handling (€1.50), international shipping (€4–5), import duty (4%), Stripe fees (1.4% + €0.25), Shopify fees (2%) and returns (5%) is typically 40–50% gross. After Facebook ads at €10–15 CAC, net margin is €5–20 depending on sell price. We show all of this every week so you know your actual number before you test.
